“04/28/2026 Alex performed post-move piano Tuning and Cleaning services on an original 1912 Steinway & Sons Model M with attention to detail, disciplined care for antique original components, and methodical before vs after tuning assessment. Alex also effectively assessed the condition of the action and soundboard. Quality service, within a timely manner, at a fair price.
05/05/2026 Alex returned to perform Action Regulation services with a similar methodical before vs after function test of the piano's restored functions degraded by sticking and slowly returning actions. Playability was significantly increased and enjoyment was directly improved. Alex also identified opportunities to restore additional service life in the existing hammers and mallets that had hardened with grooved surfaces. Truly quality service with very reasonable pricing.
05/26/2026 Alex performed exceptional Voicing services that was basically time consuming, tedious, and extremely gentle restoration of 85% of the keys. Alex methodically executed recorded before vs after function testing. Significantly restored tone across the spectrum, broadened resonance, and enhanced playability.
